"Checkout" not working

please help...

customers can shop and put items in their shopping cart, but when they click on the checkout button the error on the next page is...

The webpage cannot be found

Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

What you can try:
Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Go to and look for the information you want.



my hosting is at bluehost.com and all the other websites under this account are working fine...

Has this store ever worked or is it new and never worked?

Usually this type of error is caused by a mis configuration of the secure urls under Preferences > Hosting Services.

That worked for me thank you. I use a .com for a website and the same domain name @.net and the hosting company goofed it up. I fixed it as per your instructuions and fired right up. No I have to fix the othe 200 problems before I can go live....
