Whats the URL to the review feature that you want to add ("Five Star Review" gives a lot of results in Google, it looks like you might be talking about http://review-script.com/, is this correct?) With many review software applications you add code onto your page and replace a line of code which is typically called "page id" with the product identifier. The best option for this is to make sure that all your products have SKUs, then add [-- PRODUCT.Sku --] in place of page_id.

Thanks for the reply.. yes its www.review-script.com these are the Installation instructions I dont know what to do with this

1. Upload all files in this zip to a directory on your server called "review". Any directory name can be used. If a name other than review is used, be sure to change the "$directory" variable in config.php to reflect your change. You'll also have to edit .htaccess to make sure the correct directory is used.

You have two options to install: Manual or with the Install Script.

Install Script Instructions

1.CHMOD the following files to 666: config.php, functions.php, spell_checker/personal_dictionary/personal_dictionary.txt. CHMOD the following directories to 777: /review/usercp/upload/images, /review/images/items and /review/admin/images_uploaded.

2. In your web browser, go to http://www.YOUR-SITE.com/review/admin/install/install5.php.

3. Follow the prompts and you're done.

Manual Installation

1. Create the mysql database tables. Look in the admin directory for a directory called sql. Use five_star_review_script.sql to create your mysql tables using the unix command prompt or phpMyAdmin.

3. Open functions.php and change the information as documented in that file to match your database access information.

4. Open config.php and make appropriate changes.

5.CHMOD the following files to 666: config.php, functions.php, spell_checker/personal_dictionary/personal_dictionary.txt. CHMOD the following directories to 777: /review/usercp/upload/images, /review/images/items and /review/admin/images_uploaded.

Thanks again for the help.....

That is all stuff on the server, possibly your host might help you with for free or for a slight charge. Do you have an FTP client (like FileZilla -- free for PC -- or Transmit -- for mac)? If you have an FTP client and the FTP login to your website, this may be something that you can setup yourself. If you do not have an FTP client, you'll want to download one, and if you don't have the FTP login to your website (direct access to the server), then you will want to contact your hosting provider and have them setup the FTP access for your store.

After logging into your store through FTP, you can go through the directories (file structure) probably through a pathway that ends with /www. Once you are in the folder called "www" create a new folder (right click, new folder or new directory) and name it "review" then upload the files in the ZIP folder (not the zip folder, but the contents in the folder).

When it says "CHMOD" it just means change mode, specifically, change the permissions on a file or folder. If you are on a PC, then you can right click the files/folders that the instructions say (after uploading all files/folders on the server) and I think you click on "options" to get to an area where you can change the permissions. I use transmit for a mac, on a mac you would right click (or two finger click) and choose "get info." You might be able to specify the permission number, 666 or 777, or you might have to select from checkboxes which are lined up like the following. The first configuration below is for 666, and the second is for 777.

User: [x] read [x] write [ ] execute
Group: [x] read [x] write [ ] execute
World: [x] read [x] write [ ] execute

User: [x] read [x] write [x] execute
Group: [x] read [x] write [x] execute
World: [x] read [x] write [x] execute

Lazt, you would go to the URL that they specify and follow the prompts.

I hope this helps.
