My store wont publish certain things

Hey im new to Shopsite and i'm curious if anyone knows of a solution to my problem. I've been trying to put a more info page on my products and also put a search bar on all my pages.
When I publish my store and view it no more info pages or search bar will show up. When I preview my page in the editor I see all my changes. I reset my browser temp files thinking it was that but it is still an older store version I see. Any ideas? Thanks

Does the template you are using have the
[-- DEFINE MORE_INFO_PAGE --]
with all of the code to generate the moreinfo page here.
[-- END_DEFINE MORE_INFO_PAGE --]

Also make sure that you have checked the option on the product to create a more info pages.

For the search issue is the search form code in the template?

Note that a page template may override a product template in the LOOP products section using the code
[-- product templatename --]

So check your page template to make sure it isn't overriding the product template with one that doesn't define the moreinfo page.

Okay how do I get into the code for the template?

What product level to you have, Pro, Manager or Starter? Only Pro and Manager have an interface to edit templates and that is uner Merchandising > Custom Templates. You can use the Copy ShopSite template button to make a copy of the ShopSite template you are using. You must give it a different name than the ShopSite template name, but after you have edited it you can make another copy and give it the same name and it will override the ShopSite template.

Post a link to the page you are not seeing the changes on and let us know what should or shouldn't be there.

Another thing you might check is if you have given the pages a different filename. If you have then make sure you are looking for the new filename and not one like product27.html (a default name) if you name it something else.

Okay... from what I can tell I cant publish anything. I regenerated my page and nothing will show different. Not even text. I have pro and I can see everything in preview but I cant see anything actually placed online
