Error assigning products to page

I'm in shopsite 10 pro.

When I try to assign a product to a page, I list the pages, select the page I want, click "assign items," then select "product," then click "proceed." I get a page with two boxes. The top box say "Product assigned to page" (and is blank), the bottom box says "Products not assigned."

I choose the product I want from the second box and click "add," which copies it to the top box.

So far so good, but then when I select "save changes" I get this error.

"Selection Error!

We're sorry, but the function you requested requires a selection!
Please go back and try it again! "

Any ideas?

Is it just if you try to assign a single product? Does it work if you assign several products?

Has it been working and just quit or has your store been updated recently and this is the first time you have tried it.

What is the total version number for your ShopSite. In the backoffice click on the ShopSite above the navbar which will take you to the main screen. In the footer it will list the complete version number.

I have tried assigning multiple products and I get the same result.

This used to work, and as far as I know, nothing has changed in the setup.

If I go to a page that already has products assigned to it, I can add more products without getting the error.

I figured out the problem. The title of both the page and the product had quote marks in them. I removed the quote marks and that fixed it.
