Foreign Characters with Diacritics

I have a large number of products with the foreign name. The downloaded database come up fine on my PC using Office 2003 but loosed the foreign characters when opening on Mac using Office X and iWork.

I am looking for a way that will keep the foreign characters.
Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure that your Mac is set to display UTF-8 characters if it can. Microsoft has their own "standard" for some characters that are not part of the html standard but if you use the UTF-8 or ISO 8955-1 standard the accented characters should be able to be displayed properly on a Mac.
