how do you put a euro symbol in the product creation sectio

I need to be able to have the Euro symbol, instead of the $ sign.

How does one do this in Shopsite? option+shift+2 on a mac does not work. &euro also does not work. I do not want to settle for EUR instead of the actual sign. Is there a way to get this to work?

To edit the currency symbols in your store, you would need to edit the currency.dat file. This is typically found within your cgi-bin folder. You would need to access this file via FTP. Once you open the file (in Notepad or TextEdit) you can change the EUR to € or €.
