Resized Images

I can not get SS to generate resized images. I have gone through configuration and specified % sizes. When I execute the request SS shows me the various image sizes that are to be created and the reference name for each.

We execute the command and no images are placed in ss_size1 or 2 or 3. What could we be doing wrong?

What file type are the images? Not all image types can be resized.
Do they have the proper extension for that file type?
Does the webserver have permissions to create subdirectories of the directory the images are in?
They will always be named ss_sizeN where N is 1,2 or 3. If you have subdirectories of the media directory then the ss_size directories will be created in each of directory.

They were in the directories, within the media sub-directory.
