I put 4 similar items on my store, circle hook jig heads. They come in 4 different colors so I created a product for each color. I didn't put the color of the product in the product title, only in the item description because it didn't dawn on me that it wouldn't show the item description when the customer placed an order.
So today someone ordered a bunch of these and, of course, I can't tell what color they ordered. Is there anyway to tell from inside the database?
How to see what someone ordered.

No. If you don't have something distinctive about the product in the name or SKU there is no way to tell what was ordered.
If you have a Pro level store and have inventory tracking enabled. Then you could look at which product's inventory quantity on hand field was reduced.

I don't have Pro level and of course these are hand made jigs so there is no SKU...
I'll just have to email the customer.
Thank you.
