problem**list of pages order not numerical

I have tried to order my pages 10, 20 ,30,...100, 200,300...etc. Shopsite thinks the order is 10, 100, 1000, 20, 200, 2000,....etc. I am new to this and cant figure out how to get SS to number in numerical order. Any advise? is this on purpose or for some reason?

The sort of the list of page names is alphabetical, and in that case, 100 comes before 2. If you want to simulate a numerical sort in the listing by name, then you would need to pad your smaller numbers with 0's. For example, if the largest number you will have is 3 digits, then you should start your numbering like this:

001
002
003
...
010
011
012
...
100
101
102

etc.
