additional shipping charge

Hi,

We currently have a table rate set up for shipping.

1. Is there a way to assign an additional shipping fee to certain items (i.e. oversized or special in some other way)?

2. Is there a way to trigger a "contact merchant/e-mail for rate" for all International orders over $250? We'd prefer that it not be a flat rate for any amount over $250 and would like to address these orders on a case-by-case basis.

I'm not sure for #2, but for #1, you can add a handling charge onto particular items. You would do this under Products > Edit Product Info, and the handling charge field is within the "shipping and download" section.
