Order fulfillment

I am new to ShopSite and am accustomed to a site that offers a method to indicate that an order has been filled once it has been packed and shipped. Is there a way to do this in Shopsite?

The only thing that would be similar to what you are describing is if you use a payment gateway and use the Authorize method at the time the shopper checks out and then bill the order at the time the order is filled. The payment information section of the order would then include 2 sections, authorization section and bill section, instead of just one section. There is no checkbox to say that an order has been filled and shipped.
