How to prepare to move Shopsite

We want to move our website from one host to another host, along with the Shopsite. Need we to download all the configuration files from old server and set them on new server? I want to know whether Shopsite supporter or our new host can do it for us. If not, how should we do? thx

Which version of ShopSite do you have? 10 sp1 added an Export Store option under Utilities that allows you to get a zip file for your data, templates, config files. You can then unzip those files in your new store to restore what you had on the old one. (Note that the stores must be of the exact same version or you will need to have the Install run in the Upgrade mode on the new store after moving the files) There is no ShopSite way to get your images or html pages in a zip file.

I would talk to your new host and see if they will move the store for you, some (full service hosts) will, some (economy type hosts) may not. It may be detrimental to talk to your current host since they might get upset that you are moving and give you a hassle about getting your data from their server.
