Order Database Encryption

Postby shoplite » Tue Jul 10, 2001 7:42 pm

We're currently doing a security review. Our understanding is that the
orders database is stored encrypted on the server. We cannot find any
further info within help or knowledgebase. Can someone confirm this and
advise what standard (of encryption)
Thanks
Richard

I don't know about orders being stored encypted but you really should just
delete the orders as soon as possible and *not* store them on the server. If
you fill your orders daily, delete the records daily. I believe many credit
card companies require this.
