Optimizing Search

We're looking to enhance the shopsite search function with easy to use
conditional searching using drop down boxes. For example selecting brand
names, price ranges, categories and so on.
This would search the existing shopsite database. We see this is as a
critical component to assist customers targeting products easily
Anything out there already?
