Help with California Sales Tax

Does anyone know or have first hand experience setting up California Sales Tax? Do we really have to enter every single county/town and its individual tax rate?

I have seen this done different ways, from the average in the state, to just the region that you are in. However, this is something that you would want to discuss with a Tax Attorney. ShopSite does have a built in integration with Avalara for sales tax. Avalara would calculate the appropriate sales tax for all the areas in California for you.
