More than One Unique Cart on a machine

We have an issue were in a customer's store room there is more than one user. They have seperate usernames and passwords.

The problem is when each logs in, Shopsite only provides the single shopping cart.

Is it possible to maintain multiple unique carts on a single machine?

Please advise.

If the computer has cookies enabled, and each user uses a separate web browser profile that can store cookies separate from other users on that machine, then unique carts should be maintained.

However, if the one computer shares cookies amongst all users, or that computer has cookies blocked/disabled, then only one cart will be created for that computer.

They have the single machine and browser profile. Each just logs in or out when they add to the cart. But they are seperate departments and they want to have seperate carts.

Another option would be have each user use a different browser, IE, Firefox, Chrome etc. But if they are coming from the same machine and using the same browser they will have the same shopping cart.
