How do I know which coupons have been used?

Post by gkrehbiel »

I have three coupons that provide a discount off the same product. So, for example, I have product A, and I have a google coupon, a twitter coupon and an email coupon. Each of those coupons does exactly the same thing -- i.e., they take the same dollar value off of product A.

How do I know which coupons have been used?

I'm using Shopsite 10 pro.

Thanks,

Greg

The name of the coupon used will be displayed in the order when you view it in the backoffice of the store or download it. It will appear in the list of products the the name Coupon Applied in the quantitty column like this.

Code: Select all

			Order #1284, Date: Thu Apr 22 07:55:44 2010
Qty. Name SKU Each Total
1 Estwing 22 oz. Hammertooth Hammer Est1234 $14.00 $14.00
Coupon Applied $2.00 off Hammer -$2.00
								                                            Sub Total $12.00
As long as you don't give the coupons the same name it should be easy to tell which was used.

the coupon used will show as a line item and will include the name you gave the coupon.

you can also configure google analytics to pick up this info as well.

It shows up as the product name. I expected it to be in its own field.

Thanks
