ShopSite 10 sp1 r2 Maintenance Release

Postby ShopSite David » Sun Apr 04, 2010 5:15 pm

ShopSite version 10 service pack 1 revision 2 (v10 sp1 r2) has been released. This release is also the initial release of service pack 1 for Windows Servers 2003 and 2008.

Beside bug fixes and including any previous patches, the following minor enhancements have been added:

* Native support for Windows Server 2008 (Previously only Windows Server 2003 was supported.) Also note that Windows Server 2000 is no longer supported with this release.

* Support for Authorize.Net SIM method has been added (previously only the AIM method was supported.) SIM is a 'hosted' payment solution, where shoppers enter their credit card data directly on a page on Authorize.Net's secure site. This is useful for removing the merchant's server from handling credit card entry for PCI reasons.

* Added a configuration option for the FTP Filename for the Google Product Search feature. Now a merchant's whose Google Merchant Center account is configured under a Multi-client Account can specify a unique filename for the file ShopSite sends to the Google FTP server.

* added a configuration option for the Google Product Search feature to indicate the Account ID of the Google Merchant Center account if it is under a Multi-client Account. This enables the API feed method to work for these types of Google Merchant Center accounts.

The release is currently available for the Linux, FreeBSD, and Windows Server 2003 and 2008 platforms. V10 sp1 r2 will soon be released on Solaris/SPARC.
