Upgrade Question

My host is Verio, which currently has me on shopsite 4.1, but they tell me
they do have ShopSite 5.? available for me. My main need for an upgrade is
the ability to have the custom themes/pages. Does v5.x support that or just
6, and is there a way for me to do it on v4.1 so i don't need to go through
an upgrade?

ShopSite PRO v4.1 has the Custom Pages feature (1 page output per custom
page) but not the Custom Template (themes) feature (a template can apply
to multiple ShopSite Pages).

ShopSite v5 does have the Custom Template feature, but it have as many
features as it does in v6.0 and and the current v6.1 (for example, you
can't do multiple columns of products or subproducts/cross-sell in v5
custom templates).

Get a new host man... if they haven't even gotten you on 5 yet you need to
find a host who is a little better at keeping with the times.

Why would a host not keep up-to-date with ShopSite versions. You are two
versions and lots of new features behind.

I heartedly endorse www.lexiconn.com. Outstanding cusotmer / ShopSite
support for several years.
