Searchs from a frame page footer?

Can anyone shed any light on this one:

In a custom f"ront page" frame based site implementation of shopsite
where
the store pages and cart pages show up in the main frame of a frames
page... And the frames page itself is located on the site outside of the

store directory. And the nav link calls the store html page in the main
frame window. How do you implement the search command in one of the
border frames to have shop site return in the main frame the results of
the search. (or page associated with the search)

ie. search for fords from search box located in the footer frame border
and have shop site...return "ford.html" in the main frame window with
all of the ford products assigned to that page.

This should be a similar to a hyperlink that would open in the main
frame.

Can't find it in Shop Site Resources.
