frequent buyers program

Not sure what this would be called so it's difficult to search for it...

First off, we're using Shop Site 10 PRO

We want to set up a scenario where customers can register for a frequent buyers program. Everytime they make a purchase, we have a record of it. When they spend "x" dollars, they are given a credit of "y" dollars towards their next purchase and automatically, sent an e-mail letting them know they have the credit.
