Help finding Payment Gateway and Merchant bank account

Hi all,

I have my website now at roughly 95% completion. This is my first venture into online trading and so far everything has been pretty much smooth going.

I have used shopsite pro manager and dreamweaver to design and build my website. I am happy with everything and now want to get it online ASAP.

I have come accross a problem and could do with some help/advide from people in the know.

I am now living in Thailand and want to sell Thai handcrafts. I have a UK bank account and a Thai bank account. I am selling all my goods in US Dollars as it is the 'Worldwide' currency.

Most merchant accounts/gateways have to be in UK or US so i am really stumped on how to get the finishing part of my business online.

For me, it would be better if i could find a service that combined both a payment gateway and merchant bank account in one package. I'm not sure if this is possible for outside UK/US.

I've spent a lot of time googling about this but to no avail.

I know i cant be the first expat to set up an online business in Thailand so how is it done?

Anyway, any info or recomendations would be massively appreciated.

I did find 2checkout to be quite interesting but i belive it dosnt work with shopsite. Autherize.net looks the way to go also but all i look at have to be in US.

I remember speaking to a small business owner in India who uses the paypal worldwide service to transfer money from US to there. I see that Thailand is listed too.

I have never used the service, so I don't know how well it works.
