Authentication Problem

Hi all,

I have a problem with merchant (owner) login. I just want to know , is it possible to login merchants account through URL , i.e by passing userid/password through url for new order xml file download automatically.
I have tried few like:
http://userid:password@ademostore.com/------
But that didn't work.

Please help if I am on the right path.
Your immediate help will be appreciated.

Passing the username and password in a URL is very insecure. I believe that some browsers no longer allow that kind of access.

Note that the orders section is normally secure so if it would work you would probably need to specify https: instead of just the http: for the url.

Documentation on the programmatic way to download orders in the xml format is found here:

You then need a way to process the xml to extract your data.
