How to remove image border when batch uploading

If I upload images one at a time, a border will not be applied to the images in my store.

However, if I do a batch upload via FTP, and then select all of those images and do a Reset Attributes (ensuring the border=0 for all images) then a border is still applied.

Any suggestions? I have several hundred images and would rather not have to upload them one at a time.

Reset all attributes should set the border to 0 unless you have specified something else for the border in the config. It may be that the directory you put the images in does not have permissions for the web server to write to since the ftp user and webserver user are not usually the same.

So first check that you have configured the default border to be 0. If it is then check that the directory where you put the images has permissions that allow the webserver to write files in it.
