Add users with different permissions

It would be nice to be able to add different users that would have different access to the merchant interface.

For example I have a person that I want to be able to add new products but don't really want them anywhere else.

While there is not currently a ShopSite function for different backoffice users with access to different areas of the backoffice, here is a thread that contains a reply from another merchant describing their current solution (for Apache-based webservers only):

Yes, that will work (as a workaround) until the feature is added in a future version.
