I just placed a test order on your store (sorry) and didn't see a
problem with the email receipt. The subject is "Switch Hits Receipt
Order 1017550" and then within the email it says "Order 1017550".

That is NOT a ShopSite receipt, I am guessing that it is being sent by
your credit card gateway.

It looks like a Stone Edge receipt.

Loren,

The receipt without the order number is coming from Authorize.net. I
believe I dealt with Barney on this issue a few times. From Order
Manager, when we manually process an order, the OM invoice number can
be transferred and appears on the customer receipt. However, I
believe there is some reason the ShopSite invoice number can not be
transferred to ANet through Order Manager. Barney?

Jimmy -

That receipt looks like it came from Authorize.Net. If the transaction
originated with or was captured by the Order Manager, it should have
included the Order Manager's order number in the Invoice field. We now use
Authorize.Net here for our processing, and that's what we see there in our
orders, although we do not have Authorize.Net send email messages to our
customers (there's a limit to how many email messages you should send to a
customer about one order.)

We cannot use the ShopSite order number for that because POS and manual
orders in the Order Manager do not have ShopSite order numbers.

Hope that helps.

Barney,

You're absolutely right about the number of confirmations a customer
gets for the same purpose from different sources. I love the Order
Manager's customizable, personalized email templates much better than
the basic Authorize.net email confirmations so OFF goes Anet's emails.
Thanks.

Question: Do you get email notifications from ShopSite of the new order if
you turn this on? If not, check with your host and see if your send mail
configuration is properly setup. In a shared environment, this would more
than likly affect all the ShopSites on the server and you are not alone.
