None of our images are resizing

We are a new customer. The image resize is not working for any of the images we import. Any idea what is going on? We get a red error message: This image will not resize. The Create Resized Images doesn't work either.

My first thought would be to check the permissions on the image folders....

Only certain types of images can be resized ; jpg, gif and png. Any other image format will not resize.

The images must have the appropriate image extention, i.e. a jpeg image must end with .jpg and not gif.

Make sure you have configured the resize settings or it won't work either.

Thanks- I had to go in and rename my uploaded original images by adding the extensions to them. . .that seems to work (odd since our original images all had the proper extensions when we uploaded- The Create Resized Images is still not useful but at least this is a start!
