Product Pick Up versus Shipping

Is there any way to do this without some complex custom shipping API program? We have the option of having the customer pick up the product at the store versus having it shipped to their homes. But how do I customize the checkout process to do this without charging shipping?

Any ideas? We are using Shopsite 8.3 pro.

Add a ShopSite shipping method "Store Pickup" and set its price to 0.00. You do this by first setting the text under Preferences > Store Text > Shipping and then selecting that option under Commerce Setup > Shipping and configuring one of the top options on the page.

Note that anyone would be able to select this option so you will probably need to make sure that you check orders and verify that they are local orders. If the shipping address is not local you will probably need to contact them to make sure they selected the correct shipping method.
