I found a few great built-in Shopsite tools, such as the google product feed, product search keywords and descriptions.
Does anyone have any other good tips for Do-it yourself SEO or marketing for shopsite stores ?
Economy isn't going well lately but I like to be ready when the holiday starts.
Thanks,

Okay lets go a step at a time, what are your primary goals? SEO is really a long term goal - google operates off popularity thru inbound links and page ranking. The way it looks at things is based off certain metrics
Never trust an SEO'er when they promise in 2 months i'll gain you X amount of traffic or sales - there are just too many variables to consider before your rankings boosts - it takes time to really apply an effective campaign for a site depending on some of the following
1. How long has your site been online
2. How many competitors do you have
3. How long have those competitors been online
4. How many inbound links do you have?
5. How many inbound links do they have
6. Is your website front-end coding Semantically & valid coding
7. How is your metadata - are you targeting highly searched keyword phrases (while not being spammy or stuffing).
8. Feeds are really useful but remember to utilize them thru other platforms not just Google base.
before I start tackling a person's SEO, i first suggest to have a strong PPC (pay-per-click) campaign running to gain sales, until the organic traffic starts kicking in - usually I say give it a full year to really see a payoff of SEO. It takes time for search engines to find, rank, and promote you.
if you want i'm barely building my new site right now but you can find articles that i'm starting to write on these topics.
Just remember, never trust an SEO'er when they promise you the world so quickly - put them on the spot - heck put me on the spot - ask us for analytic reports, ask if we know Webmaster Guideline rules, and the most important thing to find out Make sure nobody uses Black Hat SEO techniques - while you see immediate responses - in the long run your site loses all credibility with search engines.
