I do not want these fields to show up. However, certain ones like "email" are "greyed" out and show up at checkout anyway. Does anyone know how to disable these? Just for clarification, my business is virtual and does not require names, addresses, etc. I will require an email, but I want to place it in the "custom fields".
Thanks

Thanks for the reply, Jim.
I understand what you're saying. I was in the directory you are referring to.
I'm thinking it's the latter part of your reply. Shopsite is not going to let me change it, I suppose.
Thanks.

The fields that are required can't be changed but I have heard of people using a style sheet to hide that information and then including in the custom checkout fields the same fields with hidden values so they don't display but are still submitted with the form. I don't know how this is done but maybe that will give you something to look at.

I don't know how to do that. I had decided that I would try to use these
"required" fields; however, when I go to checkout I see "email address" and its customer input field but no other field descriptions for what should be showing "name", etc. There are only the "input" fields showing with the red "required" asterick beside them. I must be missing something here???
Thanks.
