Menu Selection Error ***PLEASE HELP!!!***

Hi, I am new to ShopSIte and have it through my host Startlogic. It is version 8.3. I have tested out my website www.DirectExchangeCorp.com and receive an error message when I click add to cart on items that have a menu selection.

It will say, this item requires a menu selection. And even when I select from the menu, it still says it and won't allow the check out!!

What gives?!!! Will someone please help me?!

Do you have a specific URL where the dropdown is not working? I tried:

and that one worked fine. Make sure that you do not have ";n" text at the end of each option in the backoffice, as this tells ShopSite the option is not allowed to be selected.

I do have an ;n but that's because I thought that the instructions said to do that.

The ";n" at the end of an ordering option means the customer cannot select that.

i.e., you would use that for something like:

Please select a color;n
Blue
Green
Red

This forces the customers to choose a color, as they cannot choose "Please select a color". You would not want a ";n" after each color, or those could not be selected by the customer.

Ok that makes sense. On one of the products this is what I have for ordering options on the back end. Here is another link for the Bunkie Boards item.

The Bunkie Board item does not work. I followed the instructions from the ShopSite Support PDF.

Never mind!!! All those years of college wasted! I didn't take the ;n off of the color selection.....
