Go Toast ROI Tracking

Has anyone integrated ROI tracking using GO TOAST? I need to know how to
capture the sale amount from our checkout page to integrate it into the java
script provided to us by GO TOAST. We are using version 6.0 Pro.

Jay,

You can use the Order API to do this with a bit of programming on your part.
Basically, write a program for the Order API that will capture whichever
shopping cart variable you would like, and then output an html content type
header, and then all of the HEAD section and initial BODY tag for the shopping
cart, and then put in your Javascript (or put the Javascript in the HEAD
section, if that is where it needs to go). Then end the output of the custom cgi
with an HTML comment, which will basically comment out all of ShopSite's stuff
that you just duplicated. If necessary (in some older versions of ShopSite) you
can end the HTML comment in the Text at the Top of the Thank You Screen field
(set in Commerce Setup -> Order System).

This is pretty simple, and I know of quite a few ShopSite resellers and others
implementing third-party associate programs who have done this kind of thing
before.
