Some things work, some things don't

I have two text pages.

1. http://65.18.171.175/policies.html
2. http://65.18.171.175/about.html

The email links work great on policies but don't work at all on about. I checked the content and html tags and everything is perfect but those links aren't genereting on the about page.

My question is WHY????

What email links are you talking about?


ON the one page (about) you have
please email us at requests@giftplaceus.com
and
email us at corporategifts@giftplaceus.com
those aren't working because they aren't links.

on the other page (policies) you have
email us at <a href="mailto:returns@giftplaceus.com">returns@giftplaceus.com</a>
Which is a link and which does work.

Note that in the forum post I just made the 2 email addresses were converted to valid links by the forum software. I posted them as plain text not links.

That's weird because both are exactly the same in the back office. Mysteries abound with ShopSite!

Okay let me clarify.

My client put the content in the "Text 1: Main text on page" in the back office. On the policies and about page (noted in first post) , she put email links (mailto:) around the respective addresses. I checked these links and they are correct in both cases, HOWEVER, the email links work on the policies page AND NOT on the about us page.

Again, WHY?

If you make changes to that page do they get published? It may be that the page is not being regenerated for some reason and the mailto links were added after the last time the page was published.
