Can ShopSite simply process a cc payment by manual entry?

We want our clients to be able to go to our website and manually enter a P.O. number and an amount and click Process and have the payment captured / processed.

The info (PO, amount, etc) can be manually entered we just want the payment to be processed.

As of now something has to be added to the shopping cart.

Is this possible? And how would i go about doing that? Would I or could I copy certain parts of the ShopSite code and plug it into my own page?

Your best bet is probably to create a variable price product on a page that would allow them to enter the PO number and amount then pass that information to the shopping cart and proceed through the Checkout normally.
