incorrect product subtotal

Postby netcityshops » Fri Oct 03, 2008 8:23 am

Once in a blue moon we get an order whose dollar figures are just plain wrong.
One thing we've seen is being able to check out without paying shipping. Haven't been able to reproduce that.

Here is a new one we've experienced today:
The product subtotal doesn't add up correctly:

Qty Name SKU Each Subtotal
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 Waterfall in Spring Wall Mural 2 364 $54.95 $54.95
1 Woodland Stream Door Mural AK1214 $24.95 $24.95
1 Waterfall Door Mural 2-1047 $29.95 $29.95
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Subtotal $79.90
Shipping & Handling: UPS Ground $14.35
Taxable Amount $94.25
Tax Total $0.00
Grand Total $94.25

As you can see the product subtotal should be $109.95. I can't even begin to figure out how this could be reproduced.

Anybody else experiencing this? Couldn't find anything in the forum like this.

Using version 8.3.1

The first two items subtotal is 79.90 so it looks like the last item wasn't included in the subtotal.

Have you heard anything on this?

I too am having a similar problem when appling a coupon discount to an order.
Opened a ticket with our hosting company, but have not gotten anywhere in 2 weeks of waiting.

Unfortunately we are still getting the same problem and have never heard anything back from anybody.

Apparently ShopSite doesn't monitor these messages because you would think orders that are not being totaled properly and hence loosing money would be of major concern to them.

You should bring the issue to the attention of your host provider and ask them for assistance. If they need help they can contact ShopSite directly for assistance. If they are a ShopSite partner or you are hosting the store yourself then you may purchase a support incident at:
http://shopsite.com/support_pricing.html

This is not a general issue or more people would be having the issue.
