Pull down menus

Postby Shawn » Tue Jun 18, 2002 2:13 pm

How do you go about putting the pull down menus on the products pages
instead of in the shopping cart. Can you also put the quanity on the
page too. I am using version 5.1

Thanks

Shawn,

Go to the Products menu (make sure you are in Advanced Editing), select
the product you want to make this change for, and click the Edit Product
Layout button.

The two settings you are interested in are two checkboxes near the top,
one labelled "Display Order Quantity:" and the other labelled "Display
Ordering Options:", these two settings will accomplish what you are after
on the store pages.

Note that the Quantity box and pull-down menus will still be displayed in
the Shopping Cart as well.

Can I copy the code on the products page and put it into my own web page?

Thanks

Yes, as long as you get everything from the beginning FORM tag to the /FORM,
including those tags themselves.

In v6, the OrderAnywhere feature will give you the HTML to use including the
Quantity box and pull-down menus if you have chosen to turn those options
on.
