Is there a way to make your custom template the default template so that the merchant doesn't have to select it from the drop down menu with all of the shopsite templates. Its just an extra step they don't to take.

Also, the same with buttons. Can you globally set your own custom buttons so that the merchant doesn't have to constantly pick buttons for every product.

There is currently no way to set a template to default without it being in a theme, and there is no way for the merchant to create a theme at the current time.

You can quickly set the template and buttons using the power edit feature or by uploading the data in a tab delimited format.
