FEATURE REQUEST The Search Results Page... Can it be format

Greetings,

I've completed the custom page and product templates for one of my
customers' sites (we're a ISP reseller partner) but have a question about
the results returned from a search query. The problem is, the results page
doesn't look anything like the rest of the clients' site (except for text
colors, background color, etc...) Furthermore, there doesn't seem to be a
way to add a CHECKOUT button to that results screen (in case the customer is
done searching and simply wants to checkout NOW.)

Is there any way to create a custom search results template, or to have a
custom search results definition page? Something like the below-listed
format that we use in the other custom templates?

[--DEFINE PRODUCT--]
....
[-- END_DEFINE PRODUCT--]

That would seriously OWN!!

I use the page headers and footers and hard code the view/checkout buttons
in them so they are available on every single page. It works with serch
page too.

I too would like to be able to customize the search results as well... maybe
they could pull from a page template and a "search" template to show the
results...

I would also like to customize the search page. Please come up with
something! Or tell us a file that we can edit the hard code and customize
it to our liking.
