This was the response we got back from UPS: But we do not know how to proceed. Any ideas out there?

hank you for your inquiry. UPS is implementing a new web acceleration technology to improve the performance of
www.ups.com web page delivery and reduce the response time of XML requests for UPS OnLine® Tools. This technology enables UPS to provide faster content delivery and application performance in a secure, controlled fashion. Starting April 1, 2008 UPS will begin a phased deployment of this new technology. The deployment will finish May 6, 2008.
If you are experiencing a sudden problem receiving UPS OnLine Tool responses from UPS and you have specific firewall rules set up to allow communication back and forth with UPS, it could be because of the implementation of the Akamai content delivery network (CDN).
If you believe that you may be impacted by the implementation of Akamai, you may connect directly to UPS by posting your XML requests to the following URL:
https://onlinetools.ups.com/ups.app/xml/[ToolName] instead of
https://www.ups.com/ups.app/xml/[ToolName].
