Editting Email Receipts

The receipt a customer gets from my store shows the SKU number of the items they purchased. I would like to remove the SKU field all together and change that to the Description Feild. How can I go about this?

It is not possible to put the description on the receipt since that information is not passed to the shopping cart at the time the order is created.

OK then, how about removing the SKU?
