freebsd install problem with ld-elf.so.1 from wwwinstall.cgi

getting the following error when I try to install on FreeBSD 6... The 4.x libraries are installed and should be working...

[Tue Apr 08 13:31:39 2008] [error] [client X.X.X.X] /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: wwwinstall.cgi: Shared object has no run-time symbol table

I am in a major pinch here, I've tried everything, permissions are good, everything should be set... Freaking out.... now.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

That actually looks like you FTP'd the wwwinstall.cgi to the server in ASCII/Text mode, which would corrupt it. Try FTP'ing the entire .zip install package to the server and unzip it directly on the server instead of unzipping it on your local machine and FTP'ing the pieces.
