Header Background Color

Hi

I've searched this board at great length for posts that will instruct me on how to change the background color for my page header.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

What do you mean by "Page header" Are you talking about the header that is defined under Preferences > Header and Footer? Or just an area of the template that is at the top of the screen?

What template are you using? Some templates have various background colors hard coded while others you can change colors under (in advanced editing mode) Pages > Edit Page Layout.

Yes, the header that is defined under Preferences > Header and Footer. I am using classy_pa_template.sst

I think that is set under Commerce Setup > Order System >Layout Info > Table Shade Color:

Note that this might change lots of things and not just the header background. There are a limited number of color fields that can be set in the back office of the store so some of them are used in multiple places in the templates. This make changing a specific color in only one place difficult to do.

If changing that changes too many places you would probably need to edit the various template include files and make the color changes there.
