Template Error opening More Information file

I am a newbie to shopsite and when i add products with a more info page ig a the above error with a file location behind it. can anyone lead me in the right direction.

I am just trying with included templates. i want to get this working before i customize anything

Sounds like it is permissions error on the server. Did you fill in the Product More INformation Filename field with a name like mydirectory/filename where the file will end up in a subdirectory? If so you need to manually create the mydirectory and give it proper permission outside of ShopSite. ShopSite cannot/will not create subdirectories in the output directory for security reasons so you need to create those yourself.

I tried it with just a filename (no sub-directory) and blank also. Same result either way

Does this happen no matter which theme you choose or is it just one theme or product template?

You should probably contact your host for assistance since it is most likely a server issue rather than something in ShopSite itself that is causing the problem.
