Option Menu Text / Drop Down Menus

I want to be able to select one option and have a second associated option menu text appear based on the original selection.

For example, Color and Size...
Select Size and the color options associated with that size appear.

Is this possible to create with the code? Or any ideas that might help?

We don't often have attributes that match each other as a perfect grid, but I don't want to create differing items for each. Seems a bit excessive.

Since ShopSite pages are static it would be difficult to have information change based on a selection on the page. You might be able to do this with styles or php code but it is not possible using the standard ShopSite templates.

I know its not possible with standard templates.

I'm even willing to pay for a solution.

I was just wondering if anyone has come into the same problem or found a coding solution? Some of our options are quite long lists, and its either separate them all into different items or have rediculously long drop down menus. Neither seems to be ideal.

If anyone wants to take a crack at it, please let me know.
