Using 3rd Party Affiliates

I do not want to use ShopSite's built-in Affiliate/Associates. I want to integrate a 3rd party Afifliates feature in my site ( like - http://www.linkshare.com/ ). Is there any problem?

There is typically no problem using 3rd party affiliate programs with ShopSite. You normally just include the code that they provide on the Thank You screen of your shopping cart. If they require information such as order total or subtotal you can get that information from the the javascript variables that ShopSite provides. Look in the help at http://www.shopsite.com/help/9.0/en-US/ ... ables.html for an example. (note that the javascript variables are only available in ShopSite Pro level stores)

Since about v8.1, a very small subset of the Shopping Cart JavaScript Variables is also included on the thank you screen in ShopSite Manager stores as well, see the Manager doc at:
