A question on automatic coupon creation

On every succesful purchase we have to automatically send the customer a link with newly created "use once" coupon. What is the best way to do that ?

Does this Add-on works by means of shopsite DB direct access ?

I'm not sure if Lexiconn's module uses direct database access.

You can drop them a message and I'm sure they'll answer promptly (assuming they don't answer here before then, as I know they monitor this forum from time to time).
