If you published your pages then the pages are live on the internet. However for many merchants their ShopSite store is in a subdirectory of their actual website. For example their store may be at mydomain.com/store. If this is the case, and you do not have any pages linking to your /store pages, then it shouldn't be a problem and I wouldn't worry about it. However if you are linking to your ShopSite store pages, or if your store is in your root directory, such as mydomain.com, you may want to either delete the pages, or upload an 'under construction' page as your home page.\
Within ShopSite you can delete pages, but if you do not want to delete the pages the only way to remove them from the server, from being live, is to login through FTP and delete them from the server. Note that deleting the pages from the server does not delete the pages within ShopSite. Next time you publish your store pages within ShopSite they will be placed back on the server and yet again be live.
