Having problems with displaying Cyrillic alphabet.

Hello,
I am using the Cyrillic alphabet for my store. The characters are displaying correctly in my store, but in my back office I see something like this:& # 1044; &#1086 &#1072 ;. I thought that I can deal with it since I have the English description, as long as my customers can see it in my language. My real problem is that once you get to 'checkout' all warning messages that come up in the pop-up window are displayed as:&#1044 ; &#1086 ; &#1072.
Is there anything I can do? It's absolutely necessary that I have the site in Bulgarian=(
My version is ShopSite 8 Pro

ShopSite was designed for Western European character sets. I know that there were some changes made in version 9.0 to handle some characters that are outside of those characters. You might want to get a demo 9.0 store and see if the problem you are seeing is resolved in the latest version. You can get a demo store at

If the later version fixes the issue you could have your host upgrade your store to 9.0.
