Ordering options on more info pages

Hello,

I am new to this and using Shopsite Manager.

On my more info pages for products I have drop down menus using:
[-- PRODUCT.DisplayOrderingOptions --]

I would like my customer to choose product colors etc. from this page and for the menu not to reappear on the shopping cart page. It is redundant and confusing for the customer to have to choose color on both pages, especially when the color choices, of which there are many, are only shown on the more info product page.

Any ideas how to get the drop downs off the cart page while also getting the customers color choice to read under the product name in the cart?

The options will always display in the shopping cart.

In a Pro level store (but I don't think in manager) there is an option on Commerce Setup > Order System > Shopping cart called "Ordering Options can not be changed". If you check this option then just the selected option would be displayed and not the pulldown list.
