Newbie Qustion about existing site

Postby Steve » Wed May 08, 2002 11:01 pm

I'm seriously thinking about adding ShopSite to my exisitng sites by means
of using the drag and drop "Buy" buttons. My question is, when first
entering the store back office, I understand I have to go through the wizard
to determine certain aspects of the store. At what point will I have the
chance of specifying "NO TEMPLATE" for my site as I do not want to use a
template? I just want to add products to the back office and drag and drop
the buttons?

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,

We do something similar to that with our shopsite. What we did was enter a
testpage.html and put all the products there. From that page, which we told
the robots not to crawl, we cut and pasted the image, description and order
buttons to the page of our choice. Another way is to not specify any page
and just copy the html from the "order anywhere" option. Hope this helps.
